We have boats, kayaks and surfboards for hire.Or we can arrange that fishing charter you have always been intending to take.

Take a Dinghy or Kayak along the coast to some of the more difficult areas to reach on foot and get into some excellent land based fishing.

Isobar Surf is a surf school setup and owned by Tim Rosevear.                After several years teaching surfing overseas, Tim returned to Taupo bay to begin his new venture. His reason to locate here is that we have some of the best and most consistent east coast surf, north of Whangarei.

 WHANGAROA GOLF COURSE.

Described as exciting and challenging. The half 9 or 18 hole course, is where visitors are always made to feel welcome. Green fees. $25.00. Clubs trundles and carts available for hire.

 Taupo Bay Holiday Park.    The shop is open daily for all those necessities you forgot to bring. ie. The newspaper, bread milk and icecreams etc. They also do takeaways during summer. 

 Fishing from the rocks or the beach often produces a good feed of fish.  Fishing from the Mangonui wharf for Kingfish, John Dory or even sprats can be great fun for the whole family.

Walking tracks. For those who like to explore the wilderness there are a number of walking tracks in the nearby forests.
